I have an interview for Event Sales and Marketing Trainee, what specific advice could you give me? It is a new company. I'll be interviewed by the business developement manager or the managing director. I wish to study business management but don't know much about it. If I was asked about that, what should I consider as applicable answers?

Perhaps I'm breaking the rules but, I could use a hand from my yahoo friends.? I recently developed a home appliance for the home water piping system. It will detect a leak anywhere in the home in a matter of seconds, and shut the water off, and protect from damage and loss of personal goods. I am a designer and know nothing about sales and marketing. After contacting these firms I find that it could cost more than the developement cost to survey and determine the market base. Here's what I'm asking: 1- do you think this is a worth while device to have in your home? 2- if you could save a few bucks on your home owners insurance policy, would you consider it worth while? 3- the cost is less than the cost of replacing carpet in one room. Is this a reasonable price? 4- there are no batteries, remote sensors or any other devices required to maintain or service. If the power to your home fails, it turns the water off, because the furnace will not operate and the plumbing system could freeze. If you need water , a manual by-pass feature is provided. thank you

I'm retired military trying to start a Building business, but need financing, where do I go? Credit is poor. I have the land but can't get financing for the builds. I'm offering the investor all the profit, I just need the builds to qualify for a developement loan. With 5 builds and sales I'm in. Any and all help will be appreciated. The profit on each homes is approximately 40-50 thousand dollars. I'm looking for 200 to 350 thousand to get 2 builds started. Thanks.

Do you believe a nuke free earth is possible? I know Obama's college thesis was on soviet nuclear disarmanent, and while the russians never comply with any agreement because to cheat is to win in their mentality, all treaties before only include ballistic missile or air dropped weapons, there is no current treaty on the developement, proliferation or sale of battlefield tactical nukes, and the russians are building and testing them right along where the USA stopped all testing. The russians, under Putin, have been building a huge underground city at Yammantau, while we have mothballed our cold war facilities and dismantled our civil defense shelters, even though the threat of losing a city in a mushroom cloud now is just as great as ever before since WW2. And before someone brings it up, the US developed nuclear bombs in WW2 barely ahead of the germans and maybe only weeks ahead of the Japanese, who tested one on the coast of the Korean peninsula right before Russia declared war on them and over ran the facility, this is why they didn't surrender after Hiroshima, they would have used them on us given the chance. And yes, the germans did fly an empty jet bomber over NYC, but efforts to sabotage their heavy water program in Norway proved more successful in disrupting their program then we realized until war's end.

Evolutionist: explain your ideals w/out using scientific timetables or other created lifeforms as proof...? for instance, disvover of dinosaurs or one-celled organisms don't prove that we evolved from them, and the discover of diffrent forms or types of humans also don't prove that we evolved. it simply proved that the 'intelligent designer' that created us, also created lots of other forms of life. also, scientific timetables could be incorrect in determining the exhistance of life millions of years ago...do any of us really know with any certainty, how to date this earth when none of us have been here that long to begin with? i believe that the complexity of life and the marvelous design of the human body all point toward 'intelligent design'. for instance, in a doll shop there are dolls at various stages of artistic developement but that doesn't prove that the dolls are evolving into what you see as the finished product on the sales floor. they are at diffrent stages of being designed and created. i find it hard to believe that life came about by accident or by evolution from a one celled organism millions of years ago and since then evolved into more complex forms of life. my ancestors were not apes or anything of the sort. a body with the following design could not have happend by accident: constantly healing itself and rejuvinating cells, the ability to conceive, carry and deliver babies and the simple functions of the brain and nervous systems are proof in themselves of intelligent design. i understand that there are many questions on this forum concerning this matter, but can you explain the sheer luck of evolution with regard to the extraordinary human body without quoting scientists' speculations with regard to their imperfect timetables of human history and development and without using other created life forms as possible proof of your evolution theory?
